We feel that it is important to take better care of our planet. We used green tech design principles for our solutions to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We designed our controllers to use the absolute minimum of electricity. Each controller uses a small fraction of the electricity consumed by a high efficiency lightbulb. When our programmable outlets are not powering a device, you can barely measure their power consumption. Finally, to eliminate a tangle of wires, we created rechargeable, wireless sensors.
Reusability for Zero Waste
Our sensors use wireless technology. Many wireless sensors use multiple batteries per year. We do not feel that battery disposal is fair to our planet. We have overcome this challenge by:
- optimizing sensor power consumption to make a small battery last the entire grow cycle.
