We feel that it is important to take better care of our planet. We have designed our solutions to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our controllers have been designed to use the absolute minimum of electricity. Each one uses a small fraction of the electricity consumed by a high efficiency lightbulb. If you are comfortable using wired sensors, the electricity increase is barely measurable. You also won’t use any batteries – ever.
Reusability for Zero Waste
Our sensors also support wireless use. Many wireless sensors use multiple batteries per year. We don’t feel that battery disposal is fair to our planet. We have accepted this challenge by:
- optimizing sensor power consumption to make a small battery last several months
- utilizing rechargeable batteries.
